In 2021, amidst the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic, Upstreamed was born from a pressing need for transparency, collaboration, and faster progress in healthcare. As an Army doctor on the frontlines, I witnessed how gatekeeping and bias delayed critical breakthroughs when lives were on the line. Frustrated but determined, I teamed up with my brother, an engineer, to create a platform that removes these barriers and turns ideas into real-world impact.
